How to use it

1

Get a suspicious text or email

When something looks off — a text about a package, a call about Medicare, an email from your "bank" — don't click anything yet.

2

Select the message text

Press and hold on the message text until the selection handles appear. Drag to select the full message, then tap Share from the menu that appears.

3

Tap "Check with ProtectMyCircle"

Scroll down in the share sheet and tap Check with ProtectMyCircle. Safari opens automatically with your message loaded and ready to check.

4

See the verdict instantly

Within a few seconds you'll see a clear verdict — Danger, Warning, or Safe — with a plain-English explanation of exactly what we found.

Don't want to use the shortcut?

You can always copy and paste the message directly into the checker, or take a screenshot and upload it. Both work great and don't require installing anything.
